Who's behind the ghost
DarlingGhost draws in the dark — literally and otherwise. Every piece starts as a conversation, not a template: your reference, your story, her linework laid over it. She works across mediums — ink, paint, fabric, walls — but the throughline is always the same: dark romance, gothic detail, and roses that mean something.
She's based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, works commission-only, and reads every single request herself. Exotic — her partner, who keeps watch when she's working in person — comes along for mural and delivery jobs.

How a commission happens
There's no skipping ahead. This is the order everyone goes through — deposit, waiver, and all.
Tell DarlingGhost everything: piece type, references, budget range, and deadline. This is the only way to reach her directly.
She reads every request herself. She can deny any commission, for any reason, and she will if it isn't a fit.
Non-refundable after 24 hours. This locks your place in the queue and starts the work.
Progress updates come through as the piece takes shape. Revisions follow whatever was agreed in your quote.
Digital pieces are sent directly. Physical pieces, murals, and press-ons carry a delivery fee, quoted before final payment.
Read this before you commit
Not fine print — this is the whole print. Everything here is disclosed up front so nothing is a surprise later.
A 20% non-refundable-after-24-hours deposit is required to begin any commission. It secures your place in the queue.
Physical art, murals, and press-on sets carry a delivery or travel fee, calculated by size and distance and quoted before you pay.
Cancelling after work has started incurs a fee based on hours already logged on your piece. You'll be told the amount before it's charged.
DarlingGhost can deny, pause, or cancel any commission, at any stage, at her discretion. This includes after a deposit is paid.
Full deposit refunds are available only within 24 hours of payment. After that window closes, it closes for good.
Once work has begun, Darling Designs is not responsible for your decision to back out, disappear, or any circumstance on your end.
This form is the door. It's the only way requests reach her — no DMs, no walk-ins, no "quick question first." Fill it out completely; half-finished requests get ghosted. (Pun intended.)
Once she's read it, she'll reach out to move forward, ask for more detail, or decline. All three are possible, and all three are final.
